Brazilian Samba Dance Class
with Jennifer Barnes of Alegria Samba School
Mondays 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Whether you have been dancing Samba for years or are a beginner. This class will teach you how to dance socially or for performance. This class will cover the basic techniques of Brazilian Samba and some choreography for social Brazilian Samba dancing.
For those enthusiastic and interested in more advanced Samba, performance class will be created based on interest.

$15 drop – in rate or $10 with RPS membership

Auditions start at 6:00pm and go untill 9:00pm
The Auditions will be held at Cheek 2 Cheek Dance Studio located at 909 Grand Ave. in Pacific Beach. (Get there early to find parking)
Bring: Application with a headshot picture attached.
Eligibility:
Must be 18 years of age
Be able to perform at special events
Attend ALL rehearsals.
All levels welcome and no partner is necessary.
Beginner, Amateur, Semi-Pro, and Pro Teams have spots open
Judging will be based on:
*ATTITUDE
*Appearance
*Personality
*Physical Talent
*Dance Ability

Preparation:
Please bring application filled out.
Dress comfortable, dance shoes should be worn, but regular shoes will work.
Bring plenty of water, and be ready to dance and most of all have fun!
*Training consists of timing, technique, styling, stage presence, footwork, partnering ON1 and ON2.
