Grupo Niche is a Colombian salsa band that has been around since the 1970’s.  Based out of Cali, Colombia the group has produced some of the most memorable salsa songs of all time including "Una Aventura" and "Cali Pachanguero".

The development of the café went beyond just finding a venue to play their music but to support other artists with the passion for making music and poetry. For the fourth straight year, the Hot Monkey Love Café continues to be a home base for many local musicians in San Diego.
