About Hot Monkey Love Cafe:
The development of the café went beyond just finding a venue to play their music but to support other artists with the passion for making music and poetry. For the fourth straight year, the Hot Monkey Love Café continues to be a home base for many local musicians in San Diego. Here all—musicians, fans, artists, actors, poets, etc.—will find a great atmosphere for coffee, music and dance. HMLC has fostered many community gathering events.
All ages are invited—HMLC is a no-alcohol venue. Now with its newly expanded locale, still in the College area, HMLC is able to provide new services: professional studio rentals, live Internet radio and video broadcasting, and a recording studio. Hall rental and catering services are also available for private events.
