Ritmo Caliente:

Ritmo Caliente Orquesta is one of the most successful music bands of Southern California. This band is composed of a diverse group of professional musicians with the purpose and desire to provide the best in entertainment.  Ritmo Caliente Orquesta has performed at all the top nightclubs in Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Springs and throughout Southern California. The band has performed at top concerts and festivals, and has also opened and shared the stage with top Latin artists such as El Gran Combo, Tito Rojas, Oro Solido, Grupo Niche, Fulanito, Grupo Gale, Albita, Fruko y sus Tesos. The band was also chosen to represent Los Angeles at the San Francisco Salsa Congress, a Pretty Boys & Girls Production in November 2004.

About Ritmo Caribe:

Ritmo Caribe was founded by world-renowned musician, composer, arranger and lead vocalist, Manny Cepeda, a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

His passion and love for music was developed as a young boy and is rooted in a rich family history of musical professionals. Performing and thrilling audiences since the age of 7, first as the “Timbales Player” in the higher acclaimed variety TV “Show de Vigoreaux” in San Juan, Puerto Rico’s Channel 4.

His musical experience of over 48 years makes him a fountain of knowledge in the Latin Music genre. He has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music from Illinois State University and the University of Illinois, Champagne, Urbana.

He was the leader of the famous Navy Steel Band and the world traveled U.S. Navy Show Band, he toured the entire continent of South America and West and South Africa, Caribbean and Europe doing 7 world tours and 164 concerts and festivals within a 7 year period.

As a professional musician he has performed on stage with famous bands such as “Babo Jimenez, Ricardo Ray, Willie Colon and opened for headliners such as; Tito Puente, Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Vega, and Arturo Sandoval.

Manny has written and composed his own original Salsa, Merengue, Cumbias and Cuban selections for the enjoyment of Hispanic and American audiences throughout the World. This concept of music appeals to people from all walks of life but is especially suited for audiences 25 to 45 of both genders.
