About Angel Lebron:
Hi, I'm a native New York Puerto Rican, from the South Bronx (E. 152nd Street and Tinton Ave., also lived my first 14 years at Intervale Ave., between Westchester Ave. and E. 163rd street) living in the County of Los Angeles, I'm a professional musician have my own band (14 piece)called " Angel Lebron Y Su Sabor Latino " we play the best in NYC Classic Street Latin/Salsa Music in the West Coast, this is the music that was either heard nationally or never left the East Coast. This concept is to bring back that real latin big band sound and appearance which everyone enjoyed, remembering the joys of our club nights especially to those of you salseros that missed the "real deal"…..As we play in the clubs Sabor Latino is honoring the NYC Paladium days and the musicians that played with the Mambo Kings at that time…..Tito Puente, Tito Rodriguez, Machito, Orlando Marin, Joe Loco, Pete Terrace, Chano Pozo and many more….(Remember….)

Salsa Inferno is currently looking for dedicated dancers who want to train with the World's Best, 3 times ESPN World Salsa Champion and her Partner and co director of Salsa Brava-aka 1 Vicious 2 Mambo – Paco Evangalista. You must audition at one of our friday night classes before January 9th, (first session with the World Salsa Champion) See Salsa Inferno info below.
10:00pm Salsa Performance class: Will be held each friday at the Performing Arts Workshop.
Salsa Inferno is currently auditioning new dancers for this performance class. Must be intermediate to Advance , dance background a plus. Come to our intermediate salsa class at 9:00pm for audition. There will be two teams. One will be a training team for those that don't necessarily want to perform and there will be a Semi-Pro team,one that will perform in and around town, southern California at various venues and events.
Team Fees: $10.00 Each Friday with Directors Tony and Maria Caligagan. Team Fees with Special Guest Choreographers Zulmara Torres and Paco Evangalista: $20.00 for two fridays for two months. If you attend all practices for the month of January you will pay $60.00 for your monthly team fees. Month of February you will pay $60.00 for your monthly team fees. )
Zulmara and Paco will be teaching the following dates: January 9th and 16th. February 6th and 27th. March 6th with a special Workshop on Sunday March 8th. (Location TBA
Salsa Inferno Classes:
Every Friday in Encinitas Tony and Maria Caligagan teaching- $12.00 for two classes every friday.
Salsa Basics 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm ( focus on basic step with weight transfer, basic left right turns and lead and follow, Cross Body Lead)
Intermediate Salsa from 9:00pm to 10:00 pm (Learn intermediate to advance club moves and turns, fun and exciting!)

About DJ Victor Rumbero:
Born in Mexico City, Victor Rumbero is one of the top DJ's in LA. He has played in the most prestigious events. Such as Fiesta Del Barrio, Salsa Brava X-mas Party, Sabor Magazine Christmas party, Las Vegas Salsa Congress, Salsa Extravaganza, Salsa Splash, L.A Salsa Congress, amongst other special events.
As a result of his long trajectory in the salsa scene he's now the official DJ from SaborMagazine.com and a ex-member of Los Rumberos Dance Company which is based in Los Angeles.

Melissa Rosado (www.MelissaRosado.com) is one of the top international salsa instructor and performer on New York Style Mambo “On 2”. Melissa Rosado trained with “The Mambo King” Eddie Torres, the creator of the New York Style Mambo “On2” and is also his exclusive dance partner. Melissa has traveled around the world teaching and performing at numerous salsa congresses and festivals. Melissa, a New York native, has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, African, Afro-Cuban and Flamenco since the age of 5.

Postitive Energy Dance Company, based in San Diego, is a Salsa Fusion dance company. Past routines have included Argentine Tango, Waltz, Samba and other dance genres. Alright class, we're back from the Thanksgiving holidays and ready to dance Casino!
Come join the dancing at El Centro Cultural La Raza in Balboa Park on Saturday from 2pm to 4:00pm to learn how to dance salsa Casino.
Casino is salsa dancing Cuban-style, as developed through a combination of Afro-Cuban rhythms. Casino can be danced within a couple, but it also incorporates the Rueda, a social form of dancing where multiple couples dance together in a circle, following calls from the Rueda leader. It’s social dancing at its best!
Join us this and all Saturdays from 2:pm-4:00pm. Alex Tiger be teaching the Beginner 1/2 class and Michelle Smith will be teaching the Basic Beginner class for those who have never danced salsa Casino before. Don’t need a partner, as we’ll be switching partners constantly.
Class sessions are $5.00.
Please be there sharp, as other classes are scheduled before and after ours.
